They say that in order to achieve a personal goal you should do two things:
1. Tell somebody
2. Put it in writing
Aside from that I have absolutely no idea how to go about writing a book. I started a couple months ago, and I've hit a plateau. Maybe it's the dog days of summer, but more likely it's because I don't know what I'm doing. Pure and simple. I figure this blog dealy will help me navigate myself a bit better. We'll see. I might just give up on this too, or more likely forget that my blog exists. Don't hold your breath, if I go missing for prolonged periods keep the search party away, they probably won't like what they find -- me on the couch with a blank expression and potato chip residue on my face.
So this being the beginning, here is where we are: 82 pages into an attempt at teen fiction, which by the way is not about vampires (though I read the twilight series, and you can understand why kids are obsessed with it). I don't hold high expectations, but it's about the adventure to see IF I'm capable of finishing a book and we'll see IF I can convince anybody to publish it.
So don't judge, brace yourselves for reading about frustrations I take out on myself, and prepare your pom poms to cheer if I accidently do something right.
Enjoy. Or don't. Whatever.
